We have policies for approving adoptions and it sometimes takes a week or so depending on the number of applicants. This process and policies are designed to ensure that each animal is placed with a responsible person prepared to make a lifelong commitment to avoid an animal being released to a shelter.  One of the important part of the process is to match the life-style, personality, and needs of the adopter with the individual dog or cat. Screening process seems overly strict; however, please remember that our mission and first priority is to protect the animal’s best interests. –Thank you!
